We are seeking a Business Support Assistant with a strong customer service background to join our team on a full time basis (Monday to Friday)

Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and attend to enquiries at the front desk
- Answer telephones and transfer calls in a polite and efficient manner
- Act as first point of contact for MHCG stakeholders
- Assist with planning events, meetings and luncheons
- Prepare documents, reports and correspondence when required
- Communicate relevant information and requests to employees and residents promptly and accurately
- Create documents and manage employee and staff files and records
- Maintain the general presentation of reception and the back office
- Ensure that stationery and amenities are stocked
- Support Management team with day-to-day administrative activities
- Assist with the establishment of new residents
- Complete purchase orders for review by MH management such as stationary orders and orders for other items
- Prepare minutes of meetings as requested
- Ad-hoc administrative tasks as required
Key skills and competencies required
- 1+ year working in a high-volume, fast-paced administrative role will be highly regarded
- An ability to deal with changing priorities
- Excellent customer service, organisational and time management skills
- Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Capability to perform routine administration tasks with a high level of attention to detail
- Highly motivated and proactive
- Current police check and influenza vaccine (or willingness to obtain) and valid working rights
