This is a full-time fixed term contract (3 months) role, based at our Sydney CBD office.You will report to the Group Finance Controller and support the finance function by performing a range of financial administration duties, including bank and sales reconciliations, accounts payable, data entry and end of month closing. Key responsibilities include:Preparation of monthly reports for the Group.Balance sheet reconciliation on a monthly and annual basis.  Assisting with all statutory reporting requirements.Assisting with forecasting and budget preparation.Providing analysis and commentary on monthly and year-to-date result comparisons to forecasts.Manage the external audit & tax process. Liaison with auditors, completion of audit requests and work on resolution of audit issues.Ensuring that all companies remain compliant with its tax, reporting and payment requirements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis (BAS, payroll tax, income tax, FBT etc).Quarterly ABS surveys.Support and coach Accounts payable and other team members.Working with the internal stakeholders to drive process efficiency.Adhoc projects as required. KEY REQUIREMENTS:Professional background in Accounting and relevant qualifications (CA/CPA)Strong numeracy, analytical and administrative skills with attention to detailMethodical with demonstrated respect for process adherenceAt least 2 years’ experience working in the same or a similar role is desirableAdvanced level of ExcelExcellent communication and time management skills.Experience in the healthcare or aged care industry (desirable)Current Police Check and Influenza Vaccination, or willingness to obtainValid Working RightsIf you are a team-player who would like to join us and share our passion for the Aged Care industry, forward us a cover letter and resume.We look forward to receiving your application! At Moran Aged Care, we are committed to reflecting the diverse community we serve and creating an inclusive and respectful workplace for all employees.
